Who Can Apply?
- Minimum 60 Percent Disability — You must have at least 60 percent disability certified by a government hospital or medical board. The disability certificate must clearly mention the exact percentage — without this the application cannot move forward.
- Age 18 or Above — You must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper age limit — any eligible person from 18 onwards can apply for the Divyang Pension Yojana.
- Living in Haryana for Last 3 Years — You must be a Haryana domicile and must have been continuously residing in Haryana for at least 3 years before applying.
- Income Below Minimum Wages of Unskilled Labour — Your own annual income from all sources must not exceed the minimum wages of unskilled labour notified by the Haryana Labour Department. This figure changes every year — check the current limit before applying.
- No Adequate Family Support — Close relatives like parents, son, or grandson should not already be supporting you financially. If the family is in a position to support you adequately you may not qualify.
- Updated PPP Family ID — Your Family ID must be active and correctly showing your disability details and income before you apply. Get it updated at your nearest CSC centre first.
- Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account — Your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar so the Rs. 3,000 monthly pension reaches you directly every month without any issue.
Under the Haryana Divyang Pension Yojana every eligible person with disability receives Rs. 3,000 per month transferred directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank account through PFMS every single month. No office visit. No collection counter. No chasing anyone for the money. It arrives automatically.
Beyond the monthly amount the Divyang Pension Yojana gives something equally important — financial independence. A fixed monthly income means a person with disability does not have to depend entirely on family for every basic daily expense. That independence carries real weight both practically and in terms of personal dignity and self-respect.
Since all payments go through PFMS directly into the beneficiary’s account the process is completely transparent — no middleman, no delay, and no possibility of the pension being held up anywhere.
